Strata is leading the design and development of a high quality multi residential project in Two Mile Bay, Taupo, working closely with our client from early feasibility through the design phases of the project. The scheme explores a range of three to five bedroom typologies, carefully planned to balance density with liveability. Internally, the focus has been on generous floor to ceiling heights, a simple and considered material palette, and efficient layouts that support everyday living. Externally, the units are combined into larger architectural forms to avoid the tall and narrow expression common in medium density housing. Natural materials have been selected to soften the built form and allow it to age gracefully into the landscape. A varied internal streetscape and extensive planting across the site reinforce a sense of place and create a cohesive, well considered residential environment. The project has now achieved resource consent, and a select range of units are now for sale.
